Vijayawada MP lashes out at minister, officials

VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas here today hit out at Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao for not consulting other TDP leaders while organising party and public meetings.

Srinivas, who was speaking at the foundation stone laying function organised by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation, where Rao and Municipal Administration minister P Narayana were also present, said Rao held party and public meetings without consulting other party leaders and public representatives.

He also alleged that officials of both Vijayawada and Krishna district are working as per their will, without following rules and regulations.

The MP also questioned the attitude of Vijayawada police commissioner A B Venkateswara Rao, who recently conducted night-long search operation and asked on whose direction it was done.

Srinivas said he will also put forth the issues before the Andhra Pradesh chief minister.
