'Video Van Campaign' to educate on Child Rights in Haryana
'Save the Children' is an independent child rights organisation that works in the country and in over 120 nations around the world.

The three-year long campaign, launched by the Haryana Government in collaboration with Women and Child Development, will create awareness on children's rights through a street play followed by screening of an animated film on the subject, Khattar said.
Three vans will visit 290 villages of Hisar, Sirsa and Fatehabad districts of Haryana, and will emphasize the message that 'Education, Protection, Equity and Respect are primary rights of children', he said.
"Lack of awareness on child rights is one of the important reasons for incidences of child rights violations. Children are most vulnerable to incidences of abuse, exploitation and negligence and their voices are not heard easily in the community," Project Director ' Save the Children', Punjab and Haryana State Programme, Jatin Mondar said.
"The awareness campaign on child rights is of a prime importance," Mondar said.
'Save the Children' is an independent child rights organisation that works in the country and in over 120 nations around the world, officials said.
The campaign will be expanded in Punjab's 550 villages after its launch in Haryana.
