“We believe this is a party of Ram Bhakts. They were the first to adopt a resolution for the temple. We are hopeful they will honour it," VHP president Alok Kumar said.
A day after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat asked the government to bring in a law for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders told ET that from November 15, the organisation plans to start a campaign to meet all BJP MPs across the country, reminding them about the “promised temple” and in a way, putting them on some sort of a deadline to work towards making the Ram Temple in Ayodhya a reality.

VHP president Alok Kumar said the demand for legislation or ordinance for the construction of Ram Temple is getting louder in recent times. “We believe this is a party of Ram Bhakts. They were the first to adopt a resolution for the temple. We are hopeful they will honour it.” The VHP will also reach out to international Hindu organisations to get NRIs to put pressure on the government for a law for the temple.
