Venu Srinivasan appointed Commanding Officer of Korean Naval Vessel

Republic of Korea, Navy Rear Admiral Chung Jung-soo presented the certificate of appointment to Srinivasan at a ceremony held here last night.

CHENNAI: Noted industrialist and Chairman of two and three wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company, Venu Srinivasan has been appointed as Honorary Commanding Officer of Korean Naval Vessel, ROKS Choi Young (DDH-981).

Venu Srinivasan also serves as the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea.

Republic of Korea, Navy Rear Admiral Chung Jung-soo presented the certificate of appointment to Srinivasan at a ceremony held here last night, a press release said.

The honour was presented to Srinivasan for his dedication to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Republic of India, as Honorary Consul General of Republic of Korea.

"Upon your dedication to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Republic of India as the Honorary Consul General of Republic of Korea, Srinivasan is appointed as Honorary Commanding Officer, ROKS CHOI YOUNG (DDH-981)", the certificate of appointment said.
