KOCHI: SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan's controversial speech at Aluva was pre-planned, said Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president VM Sudheeran. "The hate-speech would have created hostilities between communities," he said. KPCC president said that law is applicable to Vellappally Natesan also.

He said that his criticism of Vellappaly Natesan was not at a personal level.

"Which hunt is not my style," he said adding that his criticism was against he political stand taken by Vellappally Natesan. According to him, Vellappally Natesan's speech at Aluva was a pre-planned one and it was clear from the video footages of the speech.

During his speech at a reception given to his Samatva Munnetta Yatra at Aluva, Vellappally Natesan had said that the government announced compensation to the family of the auto-rickshaw driver P Noushad, who lost his life while trying to save two labourers trapped in a manhole, because he was a Muslim.

The police registered a case against Vellappally Natesan for the controversial speech that he made. The SNDP general secretary was granted anticipatory bail by the Kerala High Court in the case.
