Vasundhra Raje government failed to rise to expectations of masses: Sachin Pilot

JODHPUR: Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot today alleged that the present government in the state has miserably failed to rise to the expectations of the masses.

Addressing the party leaders and workers at the party office here, he called upon them to gear up with fresh vigour to take on the BJP in the coming elections of local bodies.

"In spite of the unprecedented clean sweep, the present government has miserably failed to rise to the expectations of the common man, which is more perturbed by the spurt in the crime rate in the state and absence of governance," he said.

"On the basis of this observation, we are confident that people would reconsider their decision and would support us in the upcoming local body elections," said Pilot.

Party spokesperson Ajay Trivedi said this visit and meeting of Pilot in Jodhpur would definitely work in resolving the differences among the party leaders and energising the youth.
