Vasundhara Raje government not to scrap Gehlot schemes

JHUNJHUNU (RAJASTHAN): Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said that the welfare schemes launched by the former Congress government would not be discontinued, but necessary changes, if required, would be made to make the schemes more beneficial for people.

Addressing a public rally here in support of the party candidate Santosh Ahlawat, Raje said the government was reviewing the schemes of the previous government, and wherever any change was required, it would be done.

She exuded confidence that the party would be able to form government at the Centre and asked people to vote for BJP to make Narendra Modi prime minister.

Raje said the party in the state has set a 'Mission-25' to win all the 25 parliamentary constituencies in the state.

The party won 163 out of 200 assembly constituencies in the Assembly elections last year and now will win all the parliamentary constituencies with the people's support, she told the gathering.
