PILIBHIT: BJP candidate Varun Gandhi lodged in the district jail after being remanded in judicial custody over hate speech during election campaign, has been shifted to another jail, official sources said.
Gandhi, against whom the Uttar Pradesh Government invoked NSA over his controversial remark here, was shifted to Etah disrict jail.
It was not immediately known why the jail authorities moved the saffron leader to another jail.
Sources said that Varun was shifted to Etah jail due to security reason.
