Various schemes implemented for return of KPs: Minister

JAMMU: Terming Kashmiri Pandits an inseparable component of Kashmir society, Jammu and Kashmir government today told the state Assembly that it had implemented various schemes their return.

Winding up discussion on the demand of grants under his purview, Minister of State for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Ajaz Ahmed Khan said that government has executed various schemes including Prime Minister's package for their return to Kashmir.

He said the government has also taken many steps including enhancement in migrant relief, rehabilitation and employment avenues to the Pandit youth.

The Minister also said the government is sensitive to the problems of refugees and other border migrants and many incentives like one-time settlement and special employment package are being considered.
