Vadra case: Ambit for Dhingra commission's probe extended
GURGAON: The Haryana government on Saturday decided to extend the ambit of the Dhingra commission's inquiries beyond Gurgaon's Sector 83, where a deal between Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra's company and realty major DLF had triggered a major controversy .

The decision was taken at meeting of the state cabinet held in Delhi and chaired by CM Manohar Lal Khattar.

State agriculture minister Om Prakash Dhankhar said the commission - formed to inquire into licences to develop commercial colonies in Sector 83 given during the Congress regime - will now examine licences issued for developing all types of colonies in four villages. "Not only Sector 83, but sectors 78 to 86 will also come under the ambit of Dhingra commission's inquiry ," Dhankhar said.
