Uttarakhand government calls for action against Ramdev's Patanjali infertility medicine
Uttarakhand health minister said that the state govt will initiate action against Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurveda if the Centre failed to take any action.

Talking to reporters in Doon, Negi said, "The matter was raised by the central government last year, and not by us. They had sought a report from us on the controversial issue. We have submitted the report which is not in favour of Patanjali. Now, the Centre needs to take a call on the matter. The ball is in their court and if at all, they fail in taking action then the state government will certainly do the needful as per the law."
Rajya Sabha MPs led by JD(U)'s KC Tyagi had earlier demanded a ban on the drug and sought stringent action against its manufacturer in May 2015. Following the row, the Centre had directed the state government to launch an inquiry into the matter.
