While extending his congratulations to his counterpart in MP Mohan Yadav on the completion of one year of his government, Uttarakhand CM Dhami said that he had spent many years of his student’s life in Sagar. He also paid his heartfelt tributes to Bharat Ratna, late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was born in Madhya Pradesh and became the country’s Prime Minister. MP chief minister Mohan Yadav accompanied him at the function.
CM Dhami said his presence at the function to mark the reconstruction of Lakha Banjara Lake has reminded him of his memories of his childhood days spent in Sagar. “Many memories of the Sagar region are fresh in my mind. In these years, Madhya Pradesh and Sagar region have touched new heights of development,” he told the gathering.
Remembering the days he spent in his childhood in Sagar, CM Dhami said that the Sagar region is an unforgettable part of his life. He showed his respect for the land of Sagar and its people. “Every street, road and lake here always remain alive in my memories. The holy land of Sagar has given me values, new vision in my life,” he said. CM Dhami said that the land of Sagar has played the role of a catalyst in his life and his relationship with Sagar will always remain unbreakable.
He also gave credit to the MP government for transforming the Sagar region. “Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav's government has laid a strong foundation for Madhya Pradesh's bright future in its first year. He works very smoothly,” CM Dhami said.
He also recalled that the re-construction works of Kedarnath Dham as well as the Mahakal Lok have been done under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Referring to proposed implementation of the Uniform Civil Code Bill in the New Year, he said Uttarakhand will become a model for other states.
On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Mr Narendra Singh Tomar, Deputy Chief Minister Mr Rajendra Shukla, Cabinet Minister Mr Govind Singh Rajput and other public representatives were present.
