The three-day Chintan Shivir of the Uttarakhand BJP, which began on Sunday in Ramnagar (Nainital), is expected to prepare the roadmap for the 2022 assembly elections, the smooth election of CM Tirath Singh Rawat to the assembly and strengthening the party organisation even during the pandemic.

It is being attended by MPs, organisational leaders, former CMs and party veterans. BJP’s national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh is expected to reach the venue by late Sunday evening. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat too attanded the meeting.

The meeting will also review the social works undertaken by the party during the pandemic. The BJP’s biggest challenge is to win again in 2022 with the huge margin that it had in the 2017 assembly polls.
