Uttar Pradesh Home Department becomes active on Facebook, Twitter

LUKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Home Department has become active on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter on the directives of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Principal Secretary (Home) Debashish Panda said while thw Facebook account has been named as "Home Department UP", the Twitter handle is "HomeDepttUP" and both the accounts have been linked.

He said that through social media sites information information regarding improvment in crime, efforts to improve law and order, welfare works being done by police, achivements, schemes and policies would be provided.
