Uttar Pradesh government transfers 6 IAS officers

The Uttar Pradesh government, which is facing flak from the opposition parties over power crisis, has transferred six IAS officers.

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred six IAS officers, an official spokesperson said here.

The government which is facing flak from the opposition parties over power crisis in the state had put Chairman and Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Kamran Rizvi on the wait list.

Principal Secretary, Power, Sanjay Agarwal has been given additional charge of the department.

Special Secretary, Culture, Vidya Sagar Prasad has been shifted to secretariat administration. Special Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, Ram Vishal Mishra has been transferred to the culture department.

Joint Housing Commissioner Meerut Shafaqat Kamal has been posted as Vice-Chairman Bareilly Development Authority.

Chief Development Officer Chandauli Sujit Kumar has been shifted to Firozabad on the same post.
