Uttar Pradesh government replaces Chairman of Nodia, Greater Noida

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh government today "removed" senior IAS officer Praveer Kumar from the post of Chairman of Nodia, Greater Noida and CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).

Kumar has been removed from the post of Chairman of Noida, Greater Noida and YEIDA and shifted as Chairman of UP state Transport Corporation, an official release said here.

Sanjay Agarwal, who is the Principal Secretary (Power, Industrial and infrastructure development, NRI department) and Chairman of UP Power generation and transmission corporation, has been appointed in place of Kumar, it said.

Earlier in July, Kumar was made chairman of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Authority and CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Authority.
