Uttar Pradesh gets new ADG again, Anand Kumar replaces Aditya Mishra
Among the ADGs, ADG (Law and Order) Aditya Mishra, who becomes ADG (Personnel) replacing P C Meena, who will join as ADG (Police Housing Corporation), an official release said.

Mishra had replaced Daljeet Chaudhary as the ADG (Law and Order) in April after Yogi Adityanath took over as the chief minister. Mishra has now been posted as ADG (Administration). The new CM has been facing flak for deteriorating law and order in the state. Total of 40 IPS officers have been transferred on Tuesday.
Prominent among those transferred are Dr Surya Kumar, Chairman of Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, he becomes DG (Homeguard), Lucknow while Virendra Kumar DG (Anti- Corruption Bureau), Lucknow will take charge from Surya Kumar. Among others, Mahendra Modi, who was DG (Training) will become DG (Technical Services).

ADG (Traffic) Lucknow, Prashant Kumar goes to Meerut as a Zonal ADG, replacing Anand Kumar who becomes the new ADG (Law and Order) in Lucknow.
