Uttar Pradesh Bar council expels lawyer

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Uttar Pradesh Bar council has expelled for five years a lawyer who is in jail in connection with Hastinapur sanctuary land grab case.

" Rahul Goel, who is in jail for his alleged involvement in Hastinapur Sanctuary land grab case, was debarred for legal practices for five year," Secretary of Jansath Bar Association, Andar Husain said.

The state council took the action following an enquiry, he said.
