After suffering humiliating defeat in Assam polls, Ajmal brothers of AIUDF are now concentrating on core family business of perfume. Lok Sabha MP from Barpeta and scion of Ajmal group, Sirajudin Ajmal, now talks of expanding his business in India. Ajmal and Sons is a diversified business group with presence across India and overseas. Ajmal now plans to have 150 plus outlets in India by 2020. Currently, it has 42 stores.



Additional charge
Amid record snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, things are hotting up at Shimla-based Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. With the director having retired last month, chairperson Chandrakala Padia is learnt to have requested the HRD ministry to give her the charge of the director’s post too. The ministry has, however, handed over the additional charge of the institute to director, IIT Roorkee.



Toofan Mail
