US wants progress in Indo-US nuclear deal
Ahead of the crucial meeting of the Left-UPA committee on the Indo-US nuclear deal, the US said it would like to see progress in the matter.
Press Secretary Dana Perino also said President George W Bush is of the view that the civilian nuclear arrangement is a "very important" one.
"We would like to see progress in India and that would certainly help our Congress as well. But the President keeps regularly updated on it. He thinks it's a very important agreement," Perino said at her briefing.
