US Treasury chief Paulson meets PM
Paulson discussed a range of economic and strategic issues with Singh, according to sources.

NEW DELHI: Secretary to the US Treasury, Henry M Paulson on Monday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the backdrop of US stating that it remained "committed" to the Indo-US civilian nuclear cooperation.
Paulson discussed a range of economic and strategic issues with Singh, according to sources.
Besides the nuclear deal, the two countries are trying to bridge the gap between the developed and developing nations in the Doha Round of the World Trade Organisation.
Earlier in the day, Paulson said in Mumbai that agreement on civilian nuclear co-operation was an important part of Indo-US relationship and it would provide India access to technology and help it achieve its economic and environmental objectives.
He said the US remained "committed to this agreement".
