UPA used money to win FDI vote: Mukthar Abbas Naqvi

“Two-third MPs opposed the motion against FDI, yet it got passed. The approval of the House was not floor management but fund management.”

NEW DELHI: The United Progressive Alliance government won the vote on Foreign Direct Investment in multi-brand retail not by “floor management but by fund management”, Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Mukthar Abbas Naqvi said on Saturday.

Accusing the Congress of playing the role of “middleman of fund management”, Naqvi alleged, “Two-third MPs opposed the motion against FDI, yet it got passed. The approval of the House was not floor management but fund management.”
