UPA to decide date for Parliament Monsoon session

The UPA Government will decide on Tuesday the date for the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

NEW DELHI: The UPA Government will decide on Tuesday the date for the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs will take a decision, said sources, adding that External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will preside over the meeting.

The Committee will also assess the political situation and deliberate on a plan should the Government have to go in for a trust vote.

The meeting comes a day after the Left clearly indicated that they would withdraw support to the Government on Thursday.

The Monsoon session is expected to last a month.
