UPA has a soft foreign policy towards Pakistan: BJP

JAMMU: BJP today blamed soft foreign policy of the UPA government towards Pakistan for encouraging it to indulge in the cold blooded murder of Indian citizens.

"The soft foreign policy towards Pakistan has encouraged that country to indulge in cold blooded murder of Indian citizens," BJP state president Jugal Kishore Sharma told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.

Centre should abandon the policy of appeasement towards Pakistan and take a firm stand on security of Indian prisoners in Pakistani jails, violations of ceasefire by Pakistan and honouring sanctity of the borders, he said.

Referring to deaths of Sarabjit Singh and Chamel Singh, Sharma added, repeated incidents like these have no effect on the UPA government.
