UPA government has failed on all fronts, says BJP leader

HYDERABAD: Alleging that the Congress-led UPA government has failed on all fronts, BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao said tonight that only the BJP can be a true alternative to the Congress.

The lives of common people is miserable due to the failure and corrupt misrule of the Congress, he alleged, while addressing a gathering of party workers on his maiden visit to Hyderabad after being appointed BJP national general secretary.

He claimed that the BJP could emerge as an alternative to the Congress even in Andhra Pradesh as it has ideological clarity and moral authority.

The Congress had cheated the people of Telangana on the separate statehood demand, he claimed.
