UP serial blasts suspects arrested

Two militants of the terror outfit HuJI were arrested on Saturday at Barabanki Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh.

NEW DELHI: Two militants of the terror outfit HuJI were arrested on Saturday at Barabanki Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh.

Claiming a major breakthrough in the Uttar Pradesh serial blasts case, the police said that the arrested militants were the masterminds of the terror act.

Reports suggest that one of those arrested militants had provided logistic support to others for the explosions. The second suspect is believed to be the local operations chief of the terror group in the state.

Police have also recovered RDX and other explosives from them.
