UP result highlights: BJP to celebrate 'thumping victory' in UP Assembly polls

LUCKNOW: To rejoice over its 'thumping victory' in the recently concluded Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, the BJP would be celebrating ' Vijay Diwas' on March 18.

Spokesperson of UP BJP Harish Chandra Srivastava said that the party workers would be celebrating 'Vijay Diwas' at booth level throughout the state on March 18. The celebrations of the party workers would be held till the booth level (from the district level).

In a statement issued, he said, "All the MPs, MLAs and office bearers of the party would participate in the Vijay Diwas celebrations, scheduled to be held on March 18 throughout the state (in all the districts). March 18 would be celebrated as Vijay Diwas. The celebrations would be held till the booth level."

He further stated that as per a decision taken by the party's central leadership, the state unit of the party would also be celebrating Vijay Diwas.
