UP polls: Rastriya Janata Dal to field candidates on 130 seats

LUCKNOW: Lalu Yadav's Rastriya Janata Dal (RJD) will contest 130 of the 403 Assembly seats in the coming Uttar Pradesh elections.

"The party has decided to field candidates on 130 constituencies identified by it," RJD state chief Ashok Singh said.

The party will soon release the list of its candidates, he said.

The seven-phase UP elections will be held on February next year.
