UP Legislative Council adjourned after condoling MLC's death
LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council was adjourned for the day today after paying tributes to Samajwadi Party legislator Banwari Singh Yadav, who died in March.

Chairman Ramesh Yadav led the House in condoling his death and it was adjourned for the day after observing a two- minute silence.

Yadav died at the age of 68 on March 8 after prolonged illness.

Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, who is also the Leader of the House said with the death of Banwari Singh Yadav, the House lost a simple and hardworking member.

"His death is an irreparable loss," he said.

Leader of the Opposition Ahmed Hasan said the Samajwadi Party has lost one of its very good and effective leaders.
