UP govt failed to provide justice to riot victims: Cleric Kalbe Sadiq

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Prominent Muslim cleric Maulana Kalbe Sadiq accused the state government of failing to provide justice to the Muzaffarnagar riot victims and said the people would give it a befitting reply in the upcoming polls.

" Muzaffarnagar riots show failure of district administration. People will give reply to the government in the upcoming polls," the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) vice-president said.

He also called Narendra Modi "harmful" for secularism and said people should unitedly fight against communal forces.

Maulana claimed that the death of a cleric few days ago was actually a murder and police was trying to cover it up by saying it was a suicide.
