UP government transfers 9 IPS officers: Report

While some officers have been promoted to ADG of Police from IG, some others have been transferred to other departments.

UP government transfers 9 IPS officers: Report
LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh government today transferred nine IPS officers, an official sources said here. Promoted to Additional Director General of Police (ADG) from Inspector General(IG)-Security Vishwajeet Mahapatra has been posted as ADG-Human Rights, while ADG/IG (CB-CID) D L Ratnam has been posted as ADG-PIC Sitapur, he said.

ADG technical services Bhavesh Kumar Singh has been shifted to personnel department. He would be replaced by IG (law and order) R K Vishwakarma. ADG/IG (PAC) central zone Devendra Singh Chauhan has been transferred to telecom. ADG/IG (prosecution) Vijay Kumar has been shifted to PTC, Unnao. ADG/IG (budget) Brij Raj has been posted as ADG (building and welfare).
