UP government to ensure more facilities for pilgrims at Ayodhya's Ram temple
The SC directed that the tarpaulin sheet, jute, bamboo, polythene and ropes which cover the makeshift temple at the disputed site be replaced with new tarpaulin of the same size.

The SC on Monday directed that the tarpaulin sheet, jute, bamboo, polythene and ropes which cover the makeshift temple at the disputed site be replaced with new tarpaulin of the same size. The SC gave the order on a PIL filed by BJP leader Subramanium Swamy for providing basic facilities to pilgrims visiting Ayodhya. “We will work out an action plan after we receive the Supreme Court order. It would be implemented at the earliest but we cannot give a deadline right now. Earlier also the tarpaulin sheet at the site has been replaced on the court’s order and so it will be done once again. We have also been working over the past few months on improving facilities for tourists and pilgrims visiting Ayodhya,” said a senior government official.
The official said the government was already working for the beautification of Ayodhya and several projects have been announced. The Akhilesh Yadav government had recently sanctioned three noiseless generators and repairing and maintenance of barricades leading to the makeshift temple was also being undertaken.
