LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today announced an assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to families of two youths from the state killed in a terror attack in Kuwait.

"The CM has announced assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the kin of Ibne Abbas hailing from Ambedkar Nagar and Syed Rizwan from Sultanpur district," an official spokesman said here.

He said that the Chief Minister has strongly condemned the terror attack and expressed his deep sympathies to the family members of the victims.

Two Indians were among 26 people killed in an ISIS suicide attack at a Shia mosque in Kuwait City on June 26, according to Indian Embassy.
