Maurya met party chief Amit Shah at his residence and spent around an hour while discussing ways and means to fulfil the promises made to people of UP.

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prashad Maurya today met BJP's top brass and discussed with them ways to fulfil the promises made by the party in its poll manifesto.

Sources said the Maurya met party chief Amit Shah at his residence and spent around an hour while discussing ways and means to fulfil the promises made to people of Uttar Pradesh ahead of elections so as to repeat the party's performance in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Maurya also met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, separately.

This is his first meeting with the party's leadership after becomming the state's deputy chief minister.

Maurya is also the Uttar Pradesh BJP president.
