UP additional DGP showers rose petals on kanwariyas from helicopter

After videos of Kanwariyas thrashing a car in Delhi yesterday, another video has gone viral on social media in which the Additional Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police (Meerut Zone) Prashant Kumar and Commissioner Chandra Prakash Tripathi can be seen showering flower petals from a chopper over kanwariyas. Along with ADGP, Meerut Commissioner Anita Meshram and other senior officials can also be seen showering petals on Kanwariyas.

The video has sparked criticism on Twitter.



Yesterday, a group of kanwariyas vandalised a car in Delhi's Moti Nagar after it allegedly brushed past one of them. A couple was in the vehicle when it allegedly hit a kanwariya. According to reports, the couple got into an argument with a group of kanwarias. After that, the group of over 20 kanwarias vandalised the car with sticks and iron rods in the middle of the road.
