Uma Bharati told the media she would also discuss about Swarnarekha multi-purpose project tomorrow before proceeding to Sahibganj.

RANCHI: Union Minister Uma Bharati today arrived in Jharkhand to discuss with the state government about ' Clean Ganga Mission' and other matters.

The Union Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Minister told the media she would also discuss about Swarnarekha multi-purpose project tomorrow before proceeding to Sahibganj.

Sahibganj is the only district in the state where the Ganga flows.

"The Union Minister will visit Farakka in Sahibganj as part of the Clean Ganga Mission," BJP state unit spokesman Pradip Sinha said.

A report from Sahibganj said she would also inaugurate "Maghi Purnima Fair" at Rajmahal in the district.
