Union minister Radha Mohan Singh's escort jeep hits tempo; three women injured

MUZAFFARPUR: Three women were injured when an escort jeep of a Union Minister hit a tempo near Patahi aerodrome in this district today.

The Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh's escort vehicle hit the three-wheeler, carrying the women, when he was going to inspect the rally site at Patahi where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public meeting is scheduled on October 30, police officials said.

The injured women were identified as Rima Kumari, Nisha Kumari and Ragini Devi, residents of an area under Saraiya police station of the district.

All the three persons, including Ragini Devi who was seriously injured, were admitted to hospital, they said.
