Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju to visit Arunachal Pradesh, review border

NEW DELHI: Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju will visit Arunachal Pradesh for four days beginning tomorrow during which he will review the border area development programme and law and order situation in the North East.

He will hold a meeting with the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and senior officials of the state government besides officials of Border Roads Organisation ( BRO), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Minister will also meet officials of Central Armed Police Forces, Eastern Air Command, BRO and BSNL, an official release said.

The Minister will be accompanied by S K Mishra, Joint Secretary (Border Management) and Shambu Singh, Joint Secretary (North East).
