Union minister cleans bank of ganga

"The campaign will succeed only when everybody identifies himself or herself with it," the Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj said.

PATNA: Promoting cleanliness drive launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha today cleaned the bank of the Ganga here and called upon the people to associate themselves with the campaign.

Armed with spade, Kushwaha spent nearly two hours to clean the bank by removing filth at Gandhighat.

"The campaign will succeed only when everybody identifies himself or herself with it," the Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj said.

Kushwaha said cleaning of the Ganga bank was all the more important in view of the coming 'Chhath' festival.
