Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar in biz deal: Raj Thackeray
MUMBAI: The feud between Maharashtra’s warring Thackeray cousins reached yet another peak on Monday night with MNS Chief Raj Thackeray alleging that his cousin, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray was "getting into deals with NCP chief Sharad Pawar only for personal gains".

Uddhav reacted to this allegation saying, "some leaders were speaking out of frustration and the time for reconciliation between cousins had passed long time back."

Raj inaugurated his field campaign for Maharashtra Navanirman Sena’s (MNS) Lok Sabha candidates in Pune on Monday night. Raj took the opportunity to launch a scathing attack against the Shiv Sena and particularly against Uddhav.

Raj devoted most of his speech to reiterate that he supports Narendra Modi as PM but was opposed to the Shiv Sena.

"Uddhav claims that Sharad Pawar wanted to join the NDA alliance but was kept out only because of Shiv Sena’s objection. If Pawar is unacceptable to the Shiv Sena to such an extent, why did the Sena approach him for a plot of land to build Sena Chief Balasaheb Thackeray’s memorial? I can now reveal that Uddhav gets into deals with Pawar when it suits him and there is personal benefit. If Pawar is acceptable when it comes to personal gains, then why is Pawar not acceptable when it comes to forming an alliance”, Raj asked.
