"This morning, Uddhav Thackeray ji did a pre planned detailed check up at the Sir HN Reliance Hospital. With your best wishes, All is well, and he is fully ready to get to work and serve the people," said Aditya Thackeray in a post on X.
Back in 2016, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray discharged from the Lilavati Hospital here after he underwent angiography. The procedure was a follow-up to the angioplasty which he had had on July 20, 2012, when doctors put in eight stents to remove the multiple blockages he had in three main arteries in his heart.
Thackeray underwent a second successful angioplasty procedure at Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra in November, 2012. He had undergone the first angioplasty operation in July, 2012 after repeated bouts of unbearable chest pain. Tests had revealed multi-vessel blockages in his heart after which doctors had recommended two angioplasty surgeries.
The development regarding the former CM comes as Maharashtra Assembly, consisting of 288 seats, will go to polls later this year. The Election Commission of India is yet to announce the election schedule.
The opposition further accused Mahayuti government of not providing enough jobs in the state. "Breaking its promise of 5 crore new jobs, NDA failed to fill over 2 lakh government jobs," the booklet read.
The MVA also released a series of charts in the booklet mentioning different scams under Mahayuti government.
