Raj, Uddhav Thackeray lead protest march in Mumbai against CEC Gyanesh Kumar
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Sunday led a protest march in Mumbai against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Leaders from the Congress and the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP) also joined the morcha, which started from Metro Cinema and was headed towards the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters in south Mumbai.

The protest, called the Virat Garjana Morcha (Grand Roar March), sought the removal or resignation of the CEC over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.

Organisers did not allow party flags during the march and asked participants and supporters to carry only the national tricolour.

The protest was held two days after the Cockroach Janta Party organised a 'Jail Bharo Andolan' against the CEC at Mumbai's Shivaji Park.
