MOSCOW: Two Russian air hostesses are among several foreign nationals trapped inside Mumbai's Trident Oberoi hotel that has come under attack in the deadly terrorist attacks that have claimed over 100 lives in Mumbai, local media said here.
At least nine foreigners, including a Briton, an Australian and a Japanese national are among the 101 killed in terror attacks, the government of Maharashtra said. Earlier, the Russian Consulate in Mumbai managed to safely evacuate nine officials of state-run 'Rosoboronexport' arms exporting corporation from Taj Hotel and have been lodged in the Russian Trade Mission, 'Vesti' TV reported.
Eighteen foreigners, including those from Australia, USA, Norway, Spain, Canada and Singapore, have been injured as heavily-armed terrorists attacked two luxury hotels and other
places in southern Mumbai overnight.
Over 100 people have been killed and over 300 injured so far in the multiple terror attacks across the financial capital. Five star hotels, hospitals and Mumbai CST station were among the key targets.
A Japanese national -- Hisa Phuda (41) -- was brought dead to the Bombay hospital in south Mumbai late last night, hospital sources said. An Australian, Braid Gilbert Taylor (49), was brought dead to St George hospital in south Mumbai, the sources added.
