Two insurgents of outlawed National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) have surrendered to the Director General of Police K Nagraj, the police said today.

AGARTALA: Two insurgents of outlawed National Liberation Front of Tripura ( NLFT) have surrendered to the Director General of Police K Nagraj, the police said today.

The ultras identified as Sunil Mohan Tripura (35) and Jatanjoy Tripura (36) deposited one AK-47, two grenades, 16 live cartridges and one magzine, S P (police Control), Uttam Bhaumick said.

The ultras fled from their base camp at Chittagong hill tract and entered Indian territory through Khanthlang, a hill top hamlet near the Indo-Bangla international border in Tripura district, about 200 km from here.
