SRINAGAR: J&K administration on Wednesday released People’s Conference chairman Sajad Lone and People’s Democratic Party youth president Wahid Para after six-month long detention.

The administration is also mulling the release of two former chief ministers Omar Abdullah of National Conference and Mehbooba Mufti of People’s Democratic Party, who are also under detention since August 5.

Lone and Para were shifted to their respective residences, where they have been placed under house arrest. Lone and Parra were released from MLA hostel in Srinagar, where they were detained along with other politicians.
