Two Lashkar sympathisers arrested, hideout busted in J&K

Two militant sympathisers were today arrested by the security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

JAMMU: Two militant sympathisers were today arrested by the security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A joint column of Rashtriya Rifles and police apprehended two over ground workers of LeT in Koat in Kishtwar district during an operation this morning, army officials said.

The arrested have been identified as Qadir Hussein Lone (26) and Farooq Ahmed Lone (21), they said.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, army has busted a hideout and recovered a cache of ammunition and explosive material from Ramban district.

A joint column of Rashtriya Rifles and police busted the hideout and recovered the cache from Sargali in district Ramban last night, police officials said.

The recovery includes four kilogram of explosives, two Chinese grenades, 40 rounds of AK ammunition, ten 9mm ammunition rounds among other things.
