Two killed, two injured making IED bombs in Malda Bengal in godown owned by TMC member
Two men were killed while making bombs in a godown allegedly owned by a TMC leader in Malda district. The bombs exploded late in the morning injuring two more.

The incident has taken place at the godown of TMC leader Atiur Rahman at Sujapur in Malda district. The gowdown is located near the National Highway. According to police sources, deceased victims include Hannan Sheikh and Faidul Sheikh, two local villagers who used to make bombs in the unit. Around seven people were making bombs in the godown when the bombs exploded. Two of them are critically injured, added the sources.
Meanwhile, the party had to face a huge embarrassment after the TMC Sabhadhipati of English bazaar Panchayat Samity in Malda opened fire at a crowd leading to the death of two teenagers. Pabitra Roy, the accused leader of TMC has been arrested late at night yesterday and sent to police custody for three days.
Roy fired at the crowd after his vehicle was stopped by an irate mob in a village yesterday. The mob gheraoed his vehicle after it hit a cyclist. A 19 year old boy, Ashim Mondal and another 17 year old boy Rahul Paswan were killed after he opened fire at the mob. Police slapped charges of murder against Roy. The weapon has also been seized from his possession.
TMC had suspended him today. "Swift action has been taken. Law is equal for all. Trinamool panchayat member in Malda , who allegedly opened fire , has been suspended from party. He was arrested Sunday night," said a statement issued by the party.
