Two feared killed in blast at Tamil Nadu railway station

Two persons were feared killed and several injured in a blast at Cholavandan Railway station near Madurai Tuesday, police sources here said.

CHENNAI: Two persons were feared killed and several injured in a blast at Cholavandan Railway station near Madurai Tuesday, police sources here said.

The incident occurred at around 6 pm when the Mayiladuthurai-Tirunelveli Express train was leaving the station.

There was no damage to the train, the sources said adding police teams had rushed to the spot.
