On Sunday, Abu Halifa and Aiyazuddin Ali, both hailing from the district’s Noramari area, were lynched by mob for stealing cow. These youths were beaten up and succumb to their injuries in the hospital. Police believes that this is not the case of ‘cow vigilantism’.
