Two close relatives of NCP Chief Sharad Pawar join BJP
The news of the father son duo-- Padamsinh Patil and Ranajagajit Sinh Patil -- quitting the party would come as huge blow for the NCP.

On Saturday Jagajitsinh in the presence of his father in the presence of their followers in Osmanabad announced that the father son duo would join the BJP. Ranajagajitsinh claimed that he was doing that so that the Osmamabad region could see development and people could get more jobs. While quitting the NCP, JagajitSinh added that he has huge respect for Sharad Pawar.
The news of the father son duo quitting the party would come as huge blow for the NCP. On Friday Sharad Pawar who seldom has lost his cool got livid on being asked about Padamsinh’s exit from the party. “What is the connection of family and politics. You have made a wrong connection here."
Addressing his party functionaries and the other media, the NCP chief said, “Please don’t call such people who don’t have decency in them this is my request. If you want to call them then please don’t call me,"Pawar said.
Incidentally Pawar’s daughter, Supriya Sule has waded in to the debate and said that she too has never seen her father ever angry at home or anywhere else. Speaking to reporters in Shirdi she said, “ I have never seen him upset or angry even at home but if you ask one question five times then one can get irritated.”Sule said.
Without naming those quitting the party, Sule lamented that the ‘sons are pushing their father away for their own career’. It is not clear who her remark was intended for.
